Pick the language you write most at work - the gains transfer directly. The percentages on each card are measured from the exercises themselves: the share of non-space characters that are symbols rather than letters or digits. Rust (29.2%) and C (27.1%) lean hardest on shifted symbols, while Python (19.7%) and Java (18.3%) are closer to prose. The full breakdown is in our hardest-language-to-type analysis.
